SproutX catalyses connections between Australian founders, investors, industry mentors, agribusiness, academia, and government to affect word-class innovation across the agrifood supply chain.  

SproutX’s Pre-Accelerator Program delivers a hybrid program of mentorship and experiential learning in collaboration with The University of Melbourne and The Victorian Farmers Federation.  

The Business of Agriculture Program seeks to draw new entrants to the agtech startup ecosystem, by engaging tertiary research, academic, and corporate R&D participants to consider commercial opportunities through startups. 

By fostering collaboration between primary producers, accomplished agtech startups, and industry leaders, the Program seeks to create a pipeline for non-traditional entrepreneurs to consider venture scale startup in Agriculture 4.0 areas of need.

SproutX will deliver the ten-week program four times over two years, accepting 154 agtech entrepreneurs into the program.

SproutX received funding via LaunchVic’s Grants for AgTech Pre Accelerator Programs.
